The Gathering of the Clans (Scottish Inter-Club Surfing Championships) is due to take place at Pease Bay on the 19th and 20th of September 2026.
Clan Teams will be comprised of 6-8 competitors in the following divisions: Open Men (2), Open Women (2), Boys (1), Girls (1), Masters 40+ (1), Longboard (1).
Entry to the event is now open on ssf.justgo.com . Entry should be made by the club lead or clan chief and the total cost per team is ยฃ200 which works out at Perhaps attendees will pay your club individually, but it is up to a representative from your club to cover this total cost on the system to confirm your teamโs entry. Team entry is on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited! Clubs themselves can contribute to subsidise the per head cost for your team should your club wish to do so. Scottish Surfing Affiliated Clubs will be given priority entry into the event (not other organisations or Scottish Surfing Affiliated University Surf Clubs). Any non-affiliated clubs or organisations who wish to submit a team should contact info@scottishsurfing.scot in the first instance before registering.
Please note that any athlete entering the Gathering of the Clans must be a current member of the club they wish to represent (join SSF on ssf.justgo.com and then go back and add another membership for your club) and be either eligible to represent Scotland or have their primary residence in Scotland. So should Kelly Slater wish to compete for your team he must be able to provide proof of residence : )
