Scottish Surfing is entering an exciting new chapter, with the launch of its 2026–2029 Strategy from 1 April, following the conclusion of the national consultation period. To support the delivery of this ambitious new vision, we are now recruiting new volunteer Directors to join our Board and help shape the future of surfing in Scotland.

Our new strategy sets out a clear commitment to positively impact lives through surfing, strengthen our communities, protect our waves and waters, and support Scottish surfers to excel at every level. To help turn this vision into reality, we are seeking individuals with the passion, skills and experience to contribute at Board level across a range of roles.

EDI Director (Chair of the Women & Girls Committees)
The EDI Director will play a key leadership role in embedding equality, diversity and inclusion across Scottish Surfing. This position will also chair the Women and Girls Committees, helping to remove barriers to participation, champion inclusive practice, and ensure that women and girls are supported to thrive at every level of the sport.

General Directors
We are also seeking General Directors to bring a broad range of skills, perspectives and experience to the Board.
