Scottish Surfing is proud to announce Lost Shore Surf Resort’s title sponsorship of the Scottish Surfing Junior Series 2025, solidifying its commitment to nurturing the next generation of Scottish surfing talent. This landmark partnership will see Lost Shore Surf Resort working closely with the sport’s governing body to provide young surfers with enhanced competitive opportunities and increased support throughout the season.

The ‘Lost Shore Scottish Surfing Junior Series 2025’ is a cornerstone of Scottish Surfing’s event calendar, offering a platform for junior surfers to develop their skills and compete at the highest level. The 2025 series will feature multiple events across Scotland’s renowned surf spots, likely to be at Thurso (Dunnet Bay), Fraserburgh, Sandend and Aberdeen. With Lost Shore Surf Resort’s backing, the Series will benefit from improved event infrastructure and great prizes.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Scottish Surfing Junior Series for 2025,” said Andy Hadden, Founder of Lost Shore Surf Resort. “Our mission at Lost Shore is to create a world-class surfing destination while fostering grassroots development in Scottish surfing. Supporting the Junior Series allows us to give back to the community and help young athletes reach their full potential.”

As Europe’s largest inland surfing destination, Lost Shore Surf Resort offers cutting-edge wave technology and world-class training facilities. The sponsorship will allow Junior Series participants, at each of the 4 stops in 2025, to win surf vouchers for free access to surfing sessions at the Resort. In addition to the vouchers available at each event, Lost Shore will also award the following to each of the Junior Series categories (Under 12 Mixed, Under 14 Boy, Under 14 Girl, Under 18 Boy and Under 18 Girl):

1st Place – 1 night in a Lodge at Lost Shore (the entire Lodge) + 3 Surf Vouchers

2nd Place – 1 night stay in a Pod at Lost Shore + 2 Surf Vouchers

3rd Place – 1 night stay in a Pod at Lost Shore + 1 Surf Voucher

(Note: accommodation to be used outside peak season of July and August)

The Scottish Surfing Junior Series 2025 will kick off in April with the Scottish National Junior Surfing Championships doubling as Stop 1 of the Series. Any of the Junior Series events can be entered individually (eligibility criteria applies to the Junior National event), regardless of entry to other events in the Junior Series. We actively encourage new junior surfers who have maybe not competed before to take the leap and get involved!!!

Registration for Scottish National Junior Surfing Championships is now open.

“We are incredibly excited about this partnership,” said William Watson, Chair of Scottish Surfing. “Having Lost Shore Surf Resort as our title sponsor elevates the junior Series to a new level, ensuring that our young athletes have the best possible platform to succeed.”
