A highlight for 2025 is the announcement of a new professional European
SUP League (ESL) that will kick off in Malaga, Spain, on April 26-27
followed by two other events in Spain on May 1-4 and May 16-18. In
September and October the ESL will be concluded by two more events in
Portugal and Italy. Dates are yet to be confirmed._
_There will be an official european ranking of the ESL and at the final
event a European SUP League Champion will be crowned. More information
about event and race setup, price money etc. will be shared soon._
_Our goal with this new ESL is to create even more professional SUP race
events for your SUP athletes and to organize events in close
relationship with you – our National Federation – in order to boost and
develop the professional and recreational sport of SUP in Europe. __The
ESL is organized by a group of people who have formed the ESL and the
events are sanctioned by the ESF with ESF being responsible for running
the races, judging etc. to ensure a high level of racing._
_For 2025 we have decided to start with a maximum of 5 events with
familiar locations and organizers. For 2026 we would love to bring the
ESL to your country and also get events in northern, eastern and western

_The new ESL is NOT a substitute for the EUROSUP – the European SUP
Championship for all national teams. We will still be organizing this
event in 2025 and every second year. We hope that we can announce dates
and location very soon._
